Dr Needhirajan specialises in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Complex limb deformity corrections. After completing his basic training from Stanley Medical College Chennai Dr Needhirajan completed higher and fellowship training in the United Kingdom. He completed fellowship training in Lower limb arthroplasty in the reputed Joint replacement centre in Reading UK. He completed paediatric orthopaedics and deformity correction fellowship from the Sheffield University Hospitals UK which is a centre of excellence. He visited and completed mini fellowship program in the reputed Ilizarov centre in Kurgan Russia. He worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon in NHS in the UK since he returned full time to India in 2020. He was a recognised trainer in the UK and has many academic publications.
He completed MBA in Health services management from Anna University, Chennai India.

Knee preservation surgery
Knee arthritis is very common. Joint replacement is widely used to address this problem. In our centre we undertake knee straightening operations for knee arthritis. We preserve the knee joint and this enables labourers and young people to return back to their job without any risk of loosening of the artificial joint.
Wide variety of knee osteotomy procedure are undertaken.
Patients can sit cross legged following the procedure.
